Looking for a graphs and solutions worksheet? Then this Algebra 1 worksheet on Solution Sets, Line-Parabola Systems and Exponentials gives problems ranked from easy to hard.

These 20 problems train standards A-REI.D.10, A-REI.C.7, F-IF.C.7e and A-SSE.B.3c. The first problems test points against equations and evaluate exponential functions. Later problems solve a line with a parabola, graph exponentials and rewrite exponents.

The last six problems apply these ideas to ramps, savings, half-life and exact intersections.

Standards: A-REI.D.10, A-REI.C.7, F-IF.C.7e, A-SSE.B.3c · Level: Grade 9 Algebra 1

Decide which of the points (4, 10), (−3, 3) and (2, −1) are on the graph of y = x² − 6.

Problem 3 Complete the Solution Pair ★★★

Find the missing coordinate so that each point is on the graph.

  1. (4, ?) on y = 3x − 7
  2. (−3, ?) on y = x² + 2x
